All the conflicts in society exist because we are more result-oriented. On what our laws are based? From where does our definition of right or wrong come? The basis of all these is the outcome of the spiritual transformation. A spiritually transformed person won’t resort to murder or anything that is harmful to the other being. And hence all our actions are based on this conditioning of society. We have made the laws, religious practices, etc. on the basis of the outcomes of this spiritual transformation. We have focused on the results only and hence this leads to the rise of all conflicts at the individual level. We have not transformed the person. We have taught the individual what’s right & what’s wrong but that is just mental conditioning. Thus, majority of the individuals remain in constant conflict. The inner nature tells something else, but the mind & outer society doesn’t allow the individual to do so.

In terms of work, we have praised the individual who has consistency in doing just one thing & has expertise in that. We have laid more importance on ‘focus’. Of course, the focus is important to get things done. But the true focus comes from spiritual understanding. Till then the focus emphasized is nothing less than conditioning. A father/a teacher/society teaches a child to remain focused, thus there is conditioning. We have thus not transformed the individual but just created another unconscious person. When spiritual understanding comes, an individual becomes flexible. The individual can focus when it’s required and also can come out of it when not required. It embraces freedom at the individual level. But this understanding comes at its own cost. It comes after unrestricted exposure to life with all its experiences of failures, miseries, etc. But society still isn’t embracing the failures & the miseries of life, and hence it has thwarted the true understanding that fosters then the true focus. We have embraced the result of success which comes when one remains focused. But the focus that we have emphasized isn’t true but just conditioning.

We have imparted all these results to individuals. Thus, it has created order which is just superficial. The imparted moral values have not transformed the individual, but they created conflicts. The imparted focus hasn’t created great individuals but just donkeys who just go straight way without experiencing life. Majority of the individuals die in their 20s. When the individuals die society dies as well. To build a great society we need to embrace life. We need individuals open to life experiencing failures, miseries, success, etc. We need to go from these experiences to spiritual understanding and hence foster the results. We need to be process-oriented rather than result-oriented to flourish as a society.
